In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Sister & Soldier in the Fight

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of our beloved union sister Ellen Morrow. She died earlier this month of a long standing health problems. Ellen was active in the union for many years, first as an officer and activist in her own local, #2484 – Kenro in Fredonia, WI., as an officer of the Midwest Region of UNITE and lastly as a Service Representative in WI.”

She is survived by her son and daughter and many other relatives and friends.

“Ellen was a steadfast union supporter , fearless in her efforts on behalf of working people. She was always ready at a moments notice to respond to a request from the region or the international union and most of all the members of UNITE HERE. “

“People like Ellen come few and far between. Always a smile on her face and an optimistic attitude. The union was lucky to have Ellen and we, her brothers and sisters in the labor movement will miss her tremendously. She left us too soon but we will always carry with us her fierce determination and unwavering loyalty to the cause of justice for working families.”
